This comic was partially inspired by today's view from my office window:
I guess if I really did meet a creepy magic snowman I might choose a different power. Bubble of Forever Summer sounds pretty great but if I choose teleporting I could just go to Brazil. I know it's an age-old question, but what power would you choose dear readers?

The power to finish something in one draft and have it be perfect.
Ha! Very nice! And very tempting too, though I have a feeling it would end up being something like the Midas Touch in the end. More of a curse.
The struggle and the pain of redrafts is ...maybe the very heart of writing.
Hey Tim -how 'bout Bottomless Cupboard?
I was asked this as part of a party game once, and I picked one from (I think) the second OZ book: there's a guy there with a "love magnet" that makes others love him. (Not fall IN love, just regular love.) I worried at the time that if such a wish were granted, then that would mean other people would loose their power to choose, and it worried me.
Then the other day, I realized that I'm in a place in my life where I feel like I really do have a lot of people who love me. Not everyone, but enough that I no longer wish for the love magnet. Now what I wish is that I could fulfill peoples' expectations (the good ones) and know what to do with the not-so good ones.
I think it's cool that the new haircut is making you look like Tintin in your comics--at least this one. Tintin rocks. The moral fiber of Beowulf AND he has a gun. Cheers to the barber of Strasburg.
I totally have a huge crush on The Barber of Strasburg.
