The White Horse

Just popping in with an illustration before I fall into a snowdrift (or is that big, white hillock just a pile of comics pages?).

This is an unused illustration for the Ballad of the White Horse, by G.K. Chesterton. It shows Alfred watching the Danes arrive in England.
